On March 23, at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, it was agreed to allow the delivery of medicines by postal services. This information was posted by the press service of the Ministry of infrastructure of Ukraine on its Facebook page.
The Government expects that with making such a decision it would be possible to increase the level of availability of medicines for citizens of all regions of the country, as well as to shorten the number of people in pharmacies. This type of medicine delivery will enable to provide the population, especially the elderly, with medicines through remote sales.
At the same time, it is noted that the new permission is not applicable to narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, strong and poisonous drugs, the storage of which is prohibited in Ukraine according to the law.
This specific moment has been mentioned in the daily video message of Vladimir Zelensky, the President of Ukraine. Currently, “Ukrposhta” will be able to deliver medicines throughout the country.
