RITOSSE ® IVY - A NEW PLANT SYRUP FOR WET COUGH

May 26, Kyiv. According to the information on the website of the pharmaceutical company "Darnitsa", it has introduced a new medicinal product Ritosse® Ivy for use in the complex therapy of wet cough. This medicinal product has supplemented the line of the Ritosse® brand, which consists of two medicinal products in the form of syrup, which can be used for different types of cough.

At the initial stage of development of acute laryngitis, tracheitis, bronchitis, pneumonia and as the equivalent of an attack of bronchial asthma, a dry, irritating cough may occur. It is accompanied by painful attacks that do not bring relief to the patient. For the treatment of dry cough, medicines that reduce inflammation and irritation, soothe the cough are used. These properties have Ritosse plantain (Ritosse podorozhnyk) - a medicinal product of plant origin. In its instruction for use it is indicated that as a part of complex therapy, it has an anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effect, dilutes sputum, promotes expectoration, that eases the patient's condition.

Productive, wet cough or cough with sputum separation appears in the case of diseases of the respiratory tract and accompanies by abundant separation of bronchial mucus and the formation of exudate – a fluid formed at the site of the lesion. As part of the complex therapy of wet cough, as well as for the symptomatic treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases of the bronchi, a new medicinal product Ritosse® Ivy is used.

Its name derives from Italian one – Rimedio per la tosse, that literally means cough medicine. Thanks to the dry Ivy Leaf Extract, Ritosse® Ivy reduces the viscosity of sputum and facilitates its release. The medicinal product does not contain alcohol and sugar and can be used combined with antibiotics.

Ritosse ® Ivy is available in syrup form in 100 ml vials. Thanks to its liquid form, the medicinal product is convenient for use both for children and adults.
